You know you like yarn when…

Sunday, September 30th, 2007

…you’re at a party surrounded by drunk college students and suddenly find yourself pulled aside to look at pictures of sheep, llamas, and knitted Spongebob Squarepants toys from a country fair on someone’s cell phone, because they know you will care. And you do.

Nothing much in the way of knitting went on this week, due to lots and lots of studying for the two tests I had on Thursday. Too much studying always leads to stress, which leads to impulse buying, so I ordered a bunch of Knitpicks needles that I want, but do not need. Well, I needed about $10 worth of needles. And Knitpicks gives free shipping with a $45 purchase, so why not buy $35 of stuff I’m going to need eventually anyway? Why not indeed. They should be here tomorrow. I am excited, but my craft budget idea is not working. There goes the October money.
